Rijkswaterstaat keeps the Merwedebrug on the A27 between Gorinchem and Sleeuwijk closed to trucks and coaches after steel in the arch was found weaker than assumed. The ban has been in force since 18 July 2026; scheduled buses may still use the bridge. Diversions via A15–A16–A59 or A15–A2–A59 (ADR via A2).
